COMMUNITY POLICIES
COMMUNITY POLICIES
REMAIN RESPECTFUL OF OTHER MEMBERS AT ALL TIMES.
All posts should be professional and courteous. You have every right to disagree with your fellow community members, but please do so without attacking, degrading, insulting, or otherwise belittle them or the quality of this community. Doing so are grounds for immediate removal and possible banishment.
BE AN AWARE COMMUNITY USER
Be careful with your personal information. If you mention your email address in a post, it may be used for any purpose by the general public.
Don't post information that could be used by others to steal your identity, like your street address, your phone number, serial numbers, account numbers or product license numbers. Don't share anything about yourself that you would not want to see on a road-side billboard.d.
NO SPAM / ADVERTISING / SELF-PROMOTE IN THE FORUMS
The Gemvision Community define spam as unsolicited advertisement for goods, services and/or other websites, or posts with little, or completely unrelated content. Do not spam the Gemvision Community with links to your site or product, or try to self-promote your website.
PROHIBITED CONTENT
You agree that you will not post any copyrighted, or trademarked, material or companies to this community unless you either own the copyright to that material or are authorized to do so by the copyright owner or by copyright law. You agree not to use this forum to post material that is vulgar, defamatory, inaccurate, harassing, hateful, threatening, invading of others privacy, sexually oriented, or violates any laws.
If you ever believe a user is violating the Gemvision Community Guidelines, you can report it by clicking on the ‘Report post’ in the three dots located right top corner.
FORUM MODERATORS, ADMINISTRATORS, AND PRODUCT EXPERTS
You will see some community members have a crown icon below their names. These individuals are employed by Gemvision and have many functions, from helping to keep the community running smoothly to answering technical questions, and even posting about upcoming events or webinars. Moderators and Administrators are not committed to actively answering questions or interacting with content.
If you break a rule, you will either be warned or banned depending on severity. A banishment of your forum account may either be temporary or permanent. The Gemvision Community Administrators and Moderators have the right to remove, edit, move, or close any topic at any time should they see fit. We also reserve the right to provide information about you in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted on this domain.
